Well, if you answered “Yes” to any of the above, then you’ll be delighted to hear that Scarborough Underwater Club Inc. (SUCI) is offering you an opportunity to satisfy your curiosity!

How is SUCI going to let me do that?

A: By giving you a complimentary* Introductory Scuba Lesson during our “Discover Scuba With SUCI” event!

*With a donation of a non-perishable food item to the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank

Ok - so when is it?

A: Our next "Discover Scuba Event" will be held October 3rd from 2PM till 5PM. Please contact our club's 2nd VP Marilyn Ricci at (416) 478-8582 to let her know of your interest and we will schedule a time on that day for you to experience Scuba Diving.

So - where do I go? 

A: The pool at Scarborough Centennial Recreation Centre, 1967 Ellesmere Road -  between Bellamy Rd and Markham Rd (south side of Ellesmere). Signage is posted on the day of the event.

Ok, finally - What do I need to bring?

A: You need to bring:

1) T-Shirt  - so that your skin does not get scratched from putting on the equipment.

2) Bathing Suit  - for obvious reasons!

3) Towel - to dry yourself off after you get out of the pool - there are showers so you may wish to bring soap / shampoo to rinse off after your experience.

4) a non-perishable food item - we like to give back to the community where-ever and when-ever we can.
